BOX SCORE MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Saint Francis U registered its second highest shot total of the season, but was unable to find the back of the goal as the Red Flash played Robert Morris to a scoreless tie Sunday afternoon.
Â
The Colonials, too, came out with guns blazing but none of their eight shots on goal were able to slip past rookie SFU keeper
Romina Kunze (Frankfurt, Germany/Carl-von-Weinberg-Schule). Kunze finished the day with eight saves to post her second- consecutive shutout and her third 110-minute outing of the year.
Â
The draw moves SFU's record to 3-10-5 and 3-1-3 in the Northeast Conference entering Sunday's regular season finale at league-leading Fairleigh Dickinson. No longer in the running for a regular season title, the Red Flash can still finish as high as no. 2 in the standings and can dash the Knights' hopes of hosting the upcoming tournament.
Â
Senior forward
Eloá Nascimento (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Jose Maria Matosinho) led the SFU offense with a game-high six shots, four of which were on goal. Senior
Mackenzie Walter (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg) and rookie
Gabi Morales (Madrid, Spain/Colegio La Inmaculada-Marillac) were close behind with four shots.
Â
For the Colonials, Madison Kozlowski fired five shots.  Keeper Beck Schoenecker posted the shutout with a 13-save effort.
