Game #5: Saint Francis at Texas

The Red Flash is in Austin, Texas for the first time on Tuesday for a meeting with the University of Texas.  The game, to be aired on the Longhorn Network and watchespn.com, will tipoff at 8:05 p.m. EDT, 7:05 p.m. CT.

The Frankies enter the game looking for a third win in the month of November, albeit against its toughest draw of the season.  The No. 7/9 have rolled to a 4-0 start and, most recently, a 71-55 win over Cal in the Championship game of the 2K Classic.

Riding a 10-game home winning streak, Texas has been hanging its hat on defense early on this season, limiting opponents to an average of 53.8 points per game.  Not far behind, however, is Saint Francis which has limited its opponents to 55.8 per contest.  Nationally, Texas and SFU rank 25th and 39th, respectively, in scoring defense.

The Red Flash, which touched down in Austin on Monday morning, will fly into Washington Dulles on Wednesday morning before a short break for T-Givs.  Saint Francis will take on Navy on Nov. 29 as it tries to win its second game in a row against the Midshipmen.

Texas is the first ranked team Saint Francis has faced since Dec. 20, 2011 when it fell to Pittsburgh, 71-47.
