No. 10 Bowling Goes 3-0 Sunday at NEC No. 1

WALLINGFORD, Conn. - The No. 10 Saint Francis bowling team finished the NEC No. 1 with a 6-1 record this weekend, putting an exclamation on that mark with a 3-0 record in Sunday's action. SFU defeated Adelphi, Caldwell and LIU Brooklyn. The 6-1 record tied for first place with Fairleigh Dickinson, a team the Flash defeated on Saturday.

Leading the scoring for the seven-game weekend slate were Shelby Derr (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy) (207.71),  Christina Leid (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) (193.28), Briana Ord (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) (184.71), Ashley Howe-Yorio (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Area) (181.83) and Sarah Ross (Crescent, Pa./Moon Area) (178).
 
"I was proud of our squad this weekend," head coach Tom Falbo said. "Their mindset and belief in each other carried both days for us throughout the matches."

The Red Flash heads to Millsboro, Del., next weekend to compete in the UMES Hawk Classic.
