LORETTO, Pa. (Dec. 5, 2014) – In a rematch from last November, Saint Francis U hosts George Mason for a 6 p.m. contest on Saturday, which follows the men's game against Albany in a rare non-conference doubleheader.
 
The Red Flash is still looking for their first win this season and they will also be seeking revenge against the Patriots who handled them convincingly in Fairfax last season, 97-62.
 
Despite SFU's loss at #14 Tennessee on Wednesday, it was a historic night for senior captain Alexa Hayward (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk). She knocked down six three-pointers in the game, moving her to first all-time on the career list now with 238. She broke the 18-year old record previously held by Stacy Alexander (1992-96) of 236.
 
Hayward's night didn't stop there, she also set a Thompson-Boling Arena record with 19 three-point attempts in the match-up against the Lady Vols.
 
For the first time in 2014-15, the Red Flash used the same lineup in back-to-back games.
 
Next, SFU hosts Bowling Green at the Cambria County War Memorial next Saturday before hitting the road for its final four non-conference games.
