Saint Francis will look to close out its 42nd season in the Maurice Stokes Athletics Center on a high note when it welcomes LIU Brooklyn Saturday.

The Red Flash will celebrate Senior Day prior to the game by honoring guard Matt Mazzara (State College, Pa./State College Area) and student managers Storm Stanley (Lambertville, Mich./St. Francis de Sales), Hillary Bohrer and Ashley Creamer.  Earlier in the day, SFU will hold its first annual Alumni All-Star Game.  Featuring nearly 20 former players, the game will tip off at 11:30 a.m. and will also recognize the accomplishments of the 1953-54 Frankies, who advanced to the NIT Quarterfinals.

On to the task at hand, the Flash is in position to sweep the season series from the Blackbirds for the first time since the 2003-04 season.  Saint Francis is 23-11 all-time against LIU in Loretto.

With three games remaining on the schedule, the Frankies currently reside in sixth place of the Northeast Conference standings – three spots above the ninth-place Blackbirds.  SFU is 6-0 against the four teams behind it in the league playoff picture.

The Red Flash hits the road on Thursday to play Wagner in a possible preview of an NEC Quarterfinal matchup.
