LORETTO, Pa. (Feb. 23, 2014)
- The Saint Francis University women's basketball team will travel to play Mount St. Mary's, one of the two teams ahead of SFU in the Northeast Conference standings with just three regular season games to play.

After an 82-74 setback against St. Francis Brooklyn Saturday, the Red Flash goes to Emmitsburg, Md. to play a Mountaineers team it has beaten the past eight tries.

The Mount has won six straight and is sporting an 8-1 record since the last time these two schools met on Jan. 20. Saint Francis won the meeting in Loretto in a nationally online televised contest, 81-66. Mount St. Mary's last win against the Red Flash came in 2008, and SFU holds the advantage in the all-time series, 29-26.

A significant milestone is fast approaching for senior forward Alli Williams (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle); she needs just six points to reach 2,000 career points. Williams will become just the fourth player in Northeast Conference history to accomplish the feat, and the third Saint Francis U player to do so (Jess Zinobile/Beth Swink).

Even more significantly, Williams will become just the 11th player in NCAA women's basketball history to have 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, and 300 steals.
