The Red Flash hits the road for the first time in nearly three weeks on Thursday with a visit to St. Francis Brooklyn. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Halfway through the Northeast Conference slate, the third-place Terriers (14-9; 5-3) stand one game ahead of the Frankies (6-15; 4-4) in the league standings. SFU is currently the NEC's hottest team, having won its last three contests.
If you're a fan of low-scoring, defensive affairs – you've come to the right place. Thursday's contest will feature the NEC's first- and second-ranked defenses. The Red Flash gives up 69.7 points per game, while the Terriers allow 68.3.
SFU is just 2-9 away from home this season (1-2 NEC), but provided stiff competition for conference frontrunners Bryant and Robert Morris in two of those setbacks.
The Pope Center was the site of one of the Frankies' two road wins a season ago. SFU spoiled the Terriers' Alumni Day with a 64-61 win.
The Red Flash will remain in New York to play LIU Brooklyn on Saturday.
