Saint Francis U Red Flash (10-12, 8-3) vs. St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers (15-7, 6-5)
Monday | 7 p.m.

LORETTO, Pa. (Feb. 9, 2014)
- The Saint Francis University women's basketball team will look for its seventh straight win on Monday night as St. Francis Brooklyn comes to Loretto for the first time since the 2011-12 season.

The Red Flash have been on a tear as of late and welcome a Terriers team that it has beaten the past eight tries. SFBK is coming off a heartbreaking loss on the road at Robert Morris on Saturday where it took the Colonials to double-overtime and fell, 101-95.

SFU is coming off a victory against Sacred Heart on Saturday, where the Flash controlled the game pretty much from the get-go and shot close to 50% from the field.

With the win, SFU took sole possession of second place in the Northeast Conference standings with an 8-3 mark in league play. SFBK stands solely in sixth place with a 6-5 mark in NEC play.

The current six-game winning streak is SFU's longest since the 2009-10 season when SFU won eight straight games.

Saint Francis took the lone meeting between the two schools last season, 64-53, in Brooklyn and leads the all-time series between the two schools, 39-13.
