BOX SCORE LORETTO, Pa. (Sept. 28, 2014) -- The Saint Francis U women's volleyball team cruised past Fairleigh Dickinson University in straight sets Sunday afternoon in the confines of DeGol arena.
 
SFU (6-10; 2-0) set the tone early winning the first set 25-9 over the visiting Knights (2-13; 0-2). The Flash ended the first set on a blistering 16-2 run. Saint Francis never trailed in the first set.
 
The Frankies continued to have their way with the Knights winning the third set 25-18. FDU's late second set rally was cut short off freshman outside hitter Kelsey Roush (Johnstown, Pa./Richland)'s kill.
 
The Red Flash ended Sunday's contest and claimed their third home victory of the season with a 25-20 third set win.
 
Roush led all players in kills with 19 and points with 20.5, she also marked seven digs and one service ace. The Johnstown native averaged a .357 hitting percentage throughout the match.
 
Captain Hannah Kutny (Clifton Park, N.Y./Catholic Central) led all players in digs with 25, she also chipped in 11 kills and one service ace.

Setter Alanna Blenkarn (Pickering, Ontario, Canada/Pickering) marked a game-high 39 assists.
 
The Red Flash totaled 60 points to the Knights' 29.
 
Saint Francis continues Northeast Conference play Saturday Oct. 4 as they travel Bryant (3-16; 0-1).
