SOMERSET, N.J.- Saint Francis freshman guard Madison Johnson (Knox, Pa./Keystone) earned the Northeast Conference's First Rookie of the Week Award for the 2015-16 season with her efforts against Cincinnati on Satuday afternoon. 

Johnson scored a team-high 18 points as the Flash went toe-to-toe with the Bearcats before falling 93-86 on Saturday at 5/3 Arena. 

The Keystone, Pennsylvania native was extremely efficient hitting on seven of her eight shots from the field and all four of her free throws in the game. Her game-high 18 came in just 17 minutes of action. 

The women's basketball team is back in action on Monday night as they welcome in the Pitt Panthers to DeGol Arena for the home opener. Tip-time is set for 7.
