LORETTO, Pa. – The Saint Francis University Marching Band is hosting its third annual Band Blast on Sunday, November 22.  The event begins at 2:30 p.m. in the John F. Kennedy Center auditorium. 
 
The concert will feature The Sounds of the Stage and Screen, the halftime show theme, the Batman movie theme and the Peace Prayer of Saint Francis as well as other selections. 
 
Admission is free but donations will be accepted towards the band's fundraising efforts to provide instruments to inter-city school band programs in Philadelphia.  The fundraising efforts include helping guest woodwind instructor, JoAnn Wieszczyk, start a band program at the elementary school where she teaches.
