ABOUT THE FLASHSaint Francis has been knocking on the door of a road win but have come up short in four attempts so far this season. On Tuesday afternoon, the Flash fell 82-78 at Columbia to fall to 1-5 on the young season.
Jessica Kovatch (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) led the way with 24 points and had eight of the team's 15 steals as the Flash forced 29 turnovers in the loss. The Flash will look to continue that trend on Sunday, as SFU is averaging 11 steals per game (good for 59th in the nation) and nearly six blocks (good for 14th in the nation). Saint Francis has also risen to fifth in the nation with nearly 11 made three-pointers per game. Â It will be a three-point contest on Sunday as Ohio ranks seventh in the nation in three-point field goal percentage.Â
ABOUT THE BOBCATSOhio is off to a 4-2 start to their season after a convincing 79-52 victory over the IPFW Mastodons on Thursday afternoon. The Bobcats are coming off a 27-win season that saw them win the regular season and Mid-American Conference tournament to reach the NCAA. Ohio will be the second 2015 NCAA tournament team SFU has faced, joining the Pitt Panthers. Kiyanna Black paces the Bobcats and averages nearly 20 points per contest. The 'Cats sport a stingy defense, limiting teams to just 58 points per game and 34 percent shooting. Jasmine Witherspoon is the lady to watch on the glass, averaging eight rebounds per game. Both teams have struggled with rebounds this season with the Flash a -10 on the boards and Ohio -1.Â
ABOUT THE MATCHUPThis will be the first meeting between the teams in nearly 30 years. The teams met in 1985 and 1986 with Ohio winning both times.Â

Jessica Kovatch (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) is pacing the Flash through six games this season. Kovatch is the two-time reigning NEC Rookie of the Week after going for 20-plus points in five straight games. Her 24.0 points per game average is seventh in the nation, tops in the NEC and tops amongst freshman. She ranks fourth in the nation with four threes per game and 19th in the nation with 3.5 steals per game.Â
