LORETTO, Pa. (Feb. 27, 2015) – It is 'must-win' time for Saint Francis as it enters the final weekend of regular season play.
 
The Red Flash are on the outside looking in, but can still sneak into the Northeast Conference Tournament if they win both games or win one and get help from other schools.
 
They will have their work cut out for them on Saturday as they face a Robert Morris team that up until last weekend had won 11 straight contests. The Flash beat RMU on Jan. 5 in Loretto, but has struggled since.
 
Saint Francis has not won in Moon Township since the 2010-11 campaign and its last lost there was a big one that came in the Northeast Conference Championship last March.
 
Against Central Connecticut, Alexa Hayward (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk) had a first half to remember as she hit five 3-pointers and notched 22 points. SFU was in control at halftime, but in half two the Blue Devils keyed in on her and she only had one basket.
 
Saint Francis will play Mount St. Mary's at home on Monday evening in a potential 'win or go home' type scenario.
