PRINCETON, N.J. (April 18, 2015) -- After suffering a difficult 3-1 setback to NJIT Friday afternoon the Saint Francis U men's volleyball faced off against Princeton University Tigers Saturday evening in a marathon five set match that ended in favor of Princeton, 3-2.

All five sets were battled out coming down to spilt decisions from both sides of the court. The Tigers grabbed the early lead, but faltered in the second and third set as the Flash took command of the match, 2-1.

Saint Francis had the Tigers in the palm of their hands in the fourth set, but failed to strike the final blow as Princeton forced a fifth set after they outlasted SFU 28-26.

In the final set Princeton completed their comeback with a 15-12 showing. The Tigers clinched a spot in the EIVA playoffs with the win.

Mike Marshman (Glenmont, N.Y./Bethlehem Central) tallied an team high 12 kills in the match for Saint Francis.

Daniel Ford (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) collected 41 assists, while notching two kills.

Princeton recorded an eye-shattering 29 service errors in the contest.
