LORETTO, Pa. -
The Saint Francis men's basketball team returns to action on Thursday when it travels to Robert Morris to face the Colonials at 5 p.m. The game will air live on ESPNU with John Brickley handling play-by-play and Bob Valvano providing color analysis. Fans can also watch the game online on the Watch ESPN app.

Saint Francis is looking for its fourth straight win for the first time since it won five straight in January 2011. Saint Francis is also looking for its first season-sweep of Robert Morris since the 2000-01 season. A win on Thursday would also give the Flash its first win at Robert Morris since the 2007-08 season and would snap an eight-game losing streak at the Sewall Center.

NOTES FROM CENTRAL CONNECTICUT

  • Ronnie Drinnon (Jamestown, Ohio/Greenview) became the first Red Flash player to reach 20 rebounds in a game since Earl Brown (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep Charter) had 25 against CCSU on Jan. 3, 2013.
  • Along with the career-high 20 rebounds, Drinnon posted a career-high 23 points. Both numbers surpassed his previous highs of 20 points and 18 rebounds in an NEC Tournament quarterfinal win at Bryant in March 2014.
  • Drinnon joined LSU's Ben Simmons as the only two NCAA Div. I players this season to register a 20-point, 20-rebound, five-assist game.
  • Ben Millaud-Meunier (Montreal, Quebec/Vanier) hit eight three pointers for the second time in three games to tie for third most in a game in school history.
  • Millaud-Meunier's 27 points moved him past the 900-point barrier to 923 career points.
  • Millaud-Meunier now has 198 career three pointers, moving him into fourth place on the school's list, passing Rob Wooster (1992-96), who finished with 197.
  • Josh Nebo (Katy, Texas/Cypress Lakes) had five blocks to become the first SFU player to reach that mark since Scott Eatherton had five at Monmouth on Jan. 19, 2012.
  • Nebo now has 35 blocks and is tied for sixth-most in a season in school history.
  • CCSU's Brandon Peel had six blocks to become the first SFU opponent with five-plus blocks since Peel had five against the Flash on Jan. 30, 2014.
  • The Flash scored 90-plus points for the third time this season and the second time in three games.
  • Saint Francis won its first game this season when its opponent shot 50 percent or better (1-4).

ABOUT ROBERT MORRIS

The Colonials bounced back from a three-game losing streak with a victory over Bryant on Saturday, 89-71. Billy Giles led Robert Morris with 23 points on 11-of-16 shooting while adding 10 rebounds. Freshman Isaiah Still followed closely behind with 22 points, and Rodney Pryor had 14 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. RMU outrebounded Bryant, 42-27.

Pryor leads the Colonials with 17.9 points per game. Still averages 9.4 points per game and is the reigning NEC Rookie of the Week. Last week, Still averaged 20.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and made 48.1 percent of his shots from the field. He tallied 19 points, seven rebounds and three assists against CCSU on Thursday before scoring his 22 points against Bryant.

SERIES HISTORY

The series leans in Robert Morris' favor, 49-30, but Saint Francis has won two of the past three meetings. On Jan. 30, Ben Millaud-Meunier (Montreal, Quebec/Vanier) hit eight three pointers and scored 29 points for the Red Flash in a 90-78 victory. Malik Harmon (Queens, N.Y./Christ the King) scored 22 for the Red Flash while Isaiah Still led Robert Morris with 25 points.

MILLAUD-MEUNIER REACHES 900 POINTS

Senior Ben Millaud-Meunier (Montreal, Quebec/Vanier) scored 27 points in the Flash's win over Central Connecticut put him over 900 points in his career. He now has 923. Millaud-Meunier has scored 309 points this season, his most in a season in his career. Should Millaud-Meunier reach 1,000 points, he would become the 40th Saint Francis player to reach that mark.

DRINNON NAMED NEC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Saint Francis senior Ronnie Drinnon (Jamestown, Ohio/Greenview) was named the NEC and ECAC Player of the Week for his performancein two SFU home wins last week. The forward began his week with 12 points and 16 rebounds as the Red Flash overcame a 15-point second-half deficit to beat Bryant. On Saturday, he became the first SFU player in three years to grab 20 or more rebounds, and just the seventh player in the country since 2010 to post a 20-point, 20-rebound, five-assist game. He finished with career-highs in points (23) and rebounds (20), and added five assists. Drinnon, who averaged 17.0 points, 18.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and shot 57.1 percent for the week, also surpassed the 700-rebound plateau in Saturday's win.

NEBO'S BLOCK PARTY

Freshman center Josh Nebo (Katy, Texas/Cypress Lakes) recorded five blocks in the Flash's win over Central Connecticut, giving him 35 for the season. He is now tied for sixth place on the school's single-season blocks list with Jerry Mack (1985-86) and Emmanuel Adekunle (1997-98). Melvin Scott holds the single-season record with 70 blocks in 2000-01. Nebo has a realistic chance of moving as high as second on the single-season list. That spot is currently held by Mack. He had 43 blocks in 1986-87.

FINDING THE OFFENSIVE GROOVE

The Red Flash has now scored 90-plus points twice in its past three games after surpassing that mark just once all season. The last time the Flash scored 90 points in two of three games was the 1990-91 season. That team, the school's lone NEC Champion and NCAA Tournament representative, scored 96 and 97 in back-to-back games in the first two rounds of the NEC Tournament.

TWO IN A ROW IN LORETTO

The Red Flash defeated Robert Morris at home for the second consecutive time with its 90-78 victory on Jan. 30. That's been a rare occurrence in the recent series. The last time that happened was the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons. Last year's win over the Colonials snapped a 14-game overall losing streak in the series and a 10-game home losing streak to Robert Morris.

KRIMMEL INTO NINTH PLACE ON WINS LIST

Head coach Rob Krimmel moved into ninth place on the Saint Francis wins list with his 43rd career victory over Central Connecticut on Feb. 6. Krimmel surpassed Kevin Porter with that win. Porter came back to coach the Flash from 1983-87 following an outstanding playing career in Loretto and in the NBA. John Loughran (1920-24) holds eighth place with 51 wins. Dr. Skip Hughes (1945-66) is the school's all-time wins leader with 293. He's the only Saint Francis coach to reach the 100-win plateau.

SWEEPING BRYANT

Saint Francis has two wins this season when trailing at halftime and when trailing by double-digit points, both against Bryant. It's the first season sweep of Bryant for the Red Flash in the teams' brief history. Thursday marked the 13th game in the series. Bryant currently leads the all-time series, 7-6. The 17-point halftime comeback tied for the fourth largest in the NCAA up to that point in the season. On Feb. 4, the Flash pulled off another comeback against Bryant after trailing by 10 at halftime and 15 in the second half.

LOOKING AHEAD

Saint Francis goes to Mount St. Mary's on Saturday on ESPN3 before returning home to face St. Francis Brooklyn and LIU Brooklyn. Robert Morris heads to Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday night before returning home next weekend to face the two Brooklyn schools.
