In that contest, the Flash put four players in double figures in a 87-57 rout. SFU forced 26 Mount turnovers, turning them into 33 points. The Flash also held Mount Saint Mary's to 1-12 shooting from three-point range.
ABOUT THE MOUNTMount Saint Mary's comes into the matchup at 4-8 in the NEC including completing a sweep of Wagner on Monday night. The Mountaineers have been on the wrong end of a number of close contests the past few outings, falling by three to LIU and seven to Robert Morris. Alexis Carter is the do-everything guard for the Mountaineers, averaging 13 points and seven rebounds per game. The Mount's back court leads the team with Jessica Harris averaging 11 points a contest, together the back court accounts for nearly half of the team's offense. While Mount Saint Mary's averages 56 points per contest, its calling card has been its defense. The Mount leads the NEC in points allowed per game (61.2) and field goal defense (39 percent against). SFU will try and speed the Mountaineers up as they averaged 19 turnovers per game.
ABOUT THE MATCH-UPThis will be the 61st meeting between the two schools, with SFU holding a 32-28 all-time edge, including two straight.
