ABOUT THE FLASH
Saint Francis grinded out a 73-64 win over Mount Saint Mary's on Saturday to earn their eighth NEC win of the season. The win, coupled with losses by Wagner and Saint Francis Brooklyn, clinched a spot in the NEC playoffs for the Flash. SFU used a 9-0 run to close the first half and cut the Mountaineers' lead to two at 34-32. The teams traded the lead throughout the third quarter, and a buzzer-beating three from Aisha Brock (Jacksonville, Fla./Potter's House Christian Academy) gave Saint Francis momentum heading into the final quarter. SFU out scored Mount Saint Mary's 24-12 in the final frame to seal the win. Maya Wynn (Reisterstown, Md./McDonogh)'s fifth three of the game gave Saint Francis a five-point lead midway through the quarter and the game would get no closer. Wynn finished with a career high 21 points in the victory. The Saint Francis defense was the calling card again, forcing 24 turnovers, turning them into 30 points.

ABOUT WAGNER
The Seahawks boast the nation's leading scorer in Jasmine Nwajei, who averages nearly 28 points per game. However, no other starter has averaged more than six points per game. Wagner is coming off of a 94-67 defeat against Bryant where Nwajei had 33 points. The loss dropped the Seahawks to 4-20 overall and 2-11 in the NEC. The matchup will feature the top two shot-blocking teams in the NEC as well as the two teams that have attempted the most threes. However, the Seahawks hit on just 26 percent of their attempts. Wagner does take care of the basketball, they had just 12 turnovers in the loss to Bryant.

ABOUT THE MATCHUP
Saint Francis has won the last two meetings between the teams including a 93-78 win at DeGol Arena in January to start NEC play. This will be the 64th meeting between the teams, with the Red Flash winning 42 of them. The contest will feature the top-two scorers in the NEC in Nwajei and Jessica Kovatch (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) as well as two of the top-10 in the NCAA. Wagner won the last meeting at the Spiro Center, earning a 76-60 win last January.
