FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Saint Francis men's basketball team finishes the regular season at Sacred Heart on Saturday afternoon. Tip is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. following the women's game between the Red Flash and Pioneers.Â
Both teams will qualify for the NEC Tournament, but the seeding is still completely undecided. For Saint Francis, a win on Saturday would give the Red Flash the No. 5 seed for the second consecutive season. With a loss, the SFU seed will be determined by other results from around the conference on Saturday.Â
Sacred Heart will clinch the No. 2 seed with a win and a Fairleigh Dickinson loss. Sacred Heart will be either No. 2 or No. 3 with a win, but it will fall to either a No. 6 or No. 7 seed with a loss.Â

VAN LIER IN REACH FOR DRINNONSenior
Ronnie Drinnon (Jamestown, Ohio/Greenview) recorded seven rebounds at Wagner on Thursday night to give him 764 for his career. Drinnon is now just five rebounds behind legendary Saint Francis player Norm Van Lier for 12th place on the school's all-time rebounding list. Drinnon has matched that number in his final season, pulling down 10.3 rebounds per game to go with his 12.9 points per game. Drinnon is looking to become the first SFU player in nearly 20 years to average a double-double. Current SFU assistant coach
Eric Taylor was the last player to do so in 1997-98.
NEBO TIES SCHOOL RECORDFreshman center
Josh Nebo (Katy, Texas/Cypress Lakes) tied the school record for blocks in a single game with six against LIU Brooklyn. Nebo tied three other performances - two by Jerry Mack during the 1985-86 season and one by Melvin Scott in 1997. Nebo is just the second player in school history to reach 50 blocks in a season. Scott was the first, finishing with 70 blocks in 2000-01.
