SFU GAME NOTES | LIVE VIDEO (NEC FRONT ROW) | LIVE AUDIO (WWGE) |  LIVE STATS

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA- Seeding in the upcoming NEC tournament is on the line as the Red Flash women's basketball team takes on rival Robert Morris on Monday night at seven inside the Sewall Center.

WHAT'S AT STAKE

If the Red Flash prevail, they will have earned the third seed in the NEC tournament, a loss flips them with Robert Morris to the four seed. Saint Francis could play either Central Connecticut, Fairleigh Dickinson or Mount Saint Mary's depending on the outcomes of Monday's games. The Flash have already earned a home game in the NEC quarterfinals which start Sunday afternoon.

ABOUT THE FLASH
Saint Francis comes into the game at Robert Morris, winners of five of their last six, having dropped a tough game at Sacred Heart on Saturday afternoon. The Flash led by double digits throughout most of the first half before the Pioneers chipped away at the lead in the third and pulled away in the fourth quarter in a 80-67 setback. Courtney Zezza (Plum, Pa./Plum) continued her strong play, scoring a career-high 17 points on Saturday and has scored in double figures in three of the past four games. The Flash defense forced 26 Pioneer turnovers, nearly twice Sacred Heart's average, they forced 22 turnovers against Robert Morris when the teams met in January.

ABOUT ROBERT MORRIS
The Colonials will be playing with some emotion on Monday as this will be the final regular-season home game for head coach Sal Buscaglia, who is retiring after 37 seasons on the bench including the past 13 at Robert Morris. They are led by Anna Niki Stamolamprou, the junior guard is averaging almost 14 points per game. The Colonials rebound as a team with four different players averaging around six rebounds per game. RMU is one of the stingiest defenses in the NEC, allowing around 58 points per game. The Colonials and Flash also defend the three very well, allowing opponents to shoot around 28 percent from three on the season. Both teams shot 21 percent from deep when the teams met back in January.

ABOUT THE MATCHUP
This will be the 80th meeting between the Flash and the Colonials. Robert Morris owns a slim 40-39 all-time lead in the series after Saint Francis took a 62-54 decision back on January 30th in Loretto. The Sewall Center has not been kind to SFU as the Flash have lost their last six games in Moon Township. SFU last earned a road win over the Colonials in the 2010-11 season.

LOOKING AHEAD
Next up for both teams will be a home game in the NEC tournament. Saint Francis will face either CCSU, FDU or the Mount. Tip time will be Sunday afternoon from DeGol Arena.
