LORETTO, PA- The Saint Francis Red Flash will look to run their win streak to five as they host NEC-leading Central Connecticut on Saturday on ESPN3.

ABOUT THE FLASH
Saint Francis put three players in double figures and forced 27 turnovers in a critical 70-55 win at Robert Morris on Monday afternoon to improve to 5-1 in the Northeast Conference. Jessica Kovatch (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) had a game-high 24 and crossed the 1,000 point barrier in her career in the victory. Courtney Zezza (Plum, Pa./Plum) had a big game with 15 points and 10 rebounds as SFU out rebounded the Colonials 40-32. The SFU defense stymied the Colonials, who came into the game as the number two offense in the NEC. The Red Flash held RMU to just 18 first-half points and led by 24 at the break. They will look to do the same to CCSU who is averaging 67 points per game in conference on the back of their NEC-leading 46 rebounds per contest. The key to the game will be the Red Flash shooting, CCSU's physical style has held conference opponents to 35 percent shooting and just 29 percent from three. However, the Blue Devils are just 1-7 when teams shoot 40 percent or better from the field.

ABOUT THE BLUE DEVILS
Central Connecticut has reeled off six-straight wins to start the conference slate as they embark on their longest road trip of the season. The Blue Devils were picked seventh in the pre-season poll but have defeated the Brooklyn schools on the road and Wagner, the Mount, FDU and Sacred Heart in impressive fashion on their home court. They are doing it with a very balanced offense that has four players in double figures, led by sophomore guard Kiana Patterson and senior back court mate Aleah Epps. Forwards Andy Lydon and Giocelis Reynoso are both averaging close to a double-double. Lydon is their sharp shooter, hitting on nearly 63 percent of her threes in NEC play. The sophomore has upped her scoring average from eight points to nearly 12 in NEC play. Overall, Patterson is their leading deep threat, averaging nearly three three-balls per game. CCSU took both regular-season meetings from the Red Flash last season, holding the Red Flash to a 55 point average in the two games. SFU got even in the NEC quarterfinals, winning 83-77 in Loretto.

SIDELINE CANCER
Saint Francis will be holding a Sideline Cancer day in conjunction with the Griffith Family Foundation. There will be announcements and fundraisers throughout both games, for more information on Sideline Cancer, please click the link at the top of the page.

KOVATCH MAKES HISTORY
