LORETTO, Pa. - The Saint Francis University Marching Band will host its sixth annual Band Blast performance on Sunday, November 19. The performance will start at 2 p.m. in the JFK Student Center on campus. Band Blast is a concert setting of the music the band has performed throughout the 2017 season.Â
The Band Blast program this year will feature music of a Latin theme, with additional performances of music by Journey, the Theme from Superman, and jazz standards.
Attendance is free but donations will be accepted. Each year, proceeds from Band Blast benefit local or regional charities. This year proceeds will benefit Second Chance Fundraising, a non-profit organization located in Johnstown, Pa. The goal of the organization is to raise organ donation awareness, increase funding for medical research and assistance, and provide scholarships.
