ABOUT SEMO
The Red hawks dropped their opening round game in the WNIT to #9 Louisville 80-40 at the Yum Center in Louisville. The team was led by Tesia Thompson, who had 10 points and 8 rebounds in her college debut. Thompson was an ESPN Top-100 recruit out of Memphis in the 2017 class.

Â

They were picked to finish eighth in a talented Missouri Valley Conference and lost just one senior off a team that went 13-17 last year.
