The Cardinals, picked fifth in the brutal Atlantic Coast Conference, are led by Preseason All-ACC Second Team selections Quentin Snider and Deng Adel. Adel leads the team in scoring at 19.0 ppg followed by Darius Perry at 12.0 Louisville's size could present problems for the Red Flash. The Cardinals lead the nation in blocks per game (9.7) with forward Anas Mahmoud averaging 4.3 per contest. They also own a +8.7 rebounding margin through the first three contests while SFU is -2.2. Ray Spalding is averaging 9.7 ppg and a team-high 8.0 rpg. The last time Louisville was defeated by a non-power-five opponent was in the 2011 NCAA Tournament, a 62-61 loss to Morehead State.

Sophomore forward
Deivydas Kuzavas (Kretinga, Lithuania/St. Mary's Ryken (Md.)) continues to develop in his first full season seeing extended playing time. After notching a career-high 12 points in a win at Longwood on November 18, Kuzavas followed it up with his first career double-double in a 10 point, 11 rebound effort in the win at Franciscan. The big Lithuanian is averaging 8.8 ppg and 6.0 rpg in just 18.5 minutes per game.

The Red Flash will lean on its first half performance from its season opener at No. 22 Saint Mary's when it heads to Louisville. Saint Francis matched the Gaels, now No. 21 in the AP Coaches' Poll, point for point in the game's first 15 minutes, trailing just 32-31. The 17-point loss at Saint Mary's was the smallest margin of defeat to a nationally-ranked opponent since a 17-point loss to No. 19 George Washington on Nov 30, 2005.

Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./The Lawrenceville School) have emerged as SFU's top 1-2 scoring punch. Both players have reached double figures in all four games this season and five straight dating back to last season. King leads the team in scoring at 14.3 points per game. Saint Francis has had at least three players reach double figures in scoring in all four games this season and four players in its last two.

When the Saint Francis offense is at its best, it is sharing the basketball. After recording just 17 assists in its first two games, the Red Flash have recorded 29 in the last two. Saint Francis recorded a season-high 15 assists on Tuesday night as nine different players were credited with assists. The Red Flash are averaging 89.5 points over its last two games after averaging 65.5 over its first two contests.
