Saint Francis celebrated Senior Day, recognizing guard Georgios Angelou (Halkida, Greece/Lykeio Kanithou) and forward Patrick Wrencher (West Chester, Ohio/Archbishop Moeller) for their contributions during their four years in the Red Flash program.  In Angelou's final regular season game of his career, he had five points, including a three, and a rebound.  Wrencher made his third start of the season, contributing a rebound and an assist.

Sophomore Isaiah Blackmon (Charlotte, N.C./West Charlotte) led the Red Flash with 20 points, hitting 5-of-11 shots including four threes, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.  Sophomore Jamaal King (Salisbury, Md./Bishop O'Connell (Va.)) had 16 points, on 5-of-12 shooting, four rebounds, six assists, two blocks and three steals.  Sophomore Josh Nebo (Houston, Texas/Cypress Lakes) added 11 points and 12 rebounds, but did not record a block for the first time in a game since January 7 against LIU Brooklyn.  Freshman Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./The Lawrenceville School) had nine points, 11 rebounds and four assists.

Saint Francis shot 36 percent from the field, going 20-of-56 from the floor, and 30 percent from three, hitting 7-of-23 attempts.  A big key to the win was SFU's performance at the free throw line, where it went 23-of-27.  SFU made 37 percent of its shots in the first half and 33 percent in the second half.  The Red Flash won the battle on the boards, 46-34, and assisted on 17 of its 20 made field goals.

After Anderson and Gaskins Jr. traded jumpers to open the game, the Knights went on an 11-2 run to take a 13-5 lead with 15:32 left in the half.  Holloway scored the first four points of that run, with a layup and a dunk.  Potts then converted a three-point play, hitting a free throw after being fouled on a layup.  Anderson and Edge each made layups to close out the run.

However, the Red Flash responded with a 9-0 run to take its first lead of the game, 14-13, with 10:06 remaining in the half.  Braxton started the run with a layup followed by a King jumper.  Braxton then completed an and-one opportunity with a free throw after being fouled on a layup.  Braxton hit two more free throws after being fouled on the next possession.

The Knights then went on a 15-1 run over the next five minutes.  Potts Jr. started the run with a layup and a three.  Edge scored FDU's next 10 points.  He hit two free throws before getting a layup to go on the next possession.  A few plays later, Edge converted a three-point play and added a three to push FDU's lead to 52-47 with 9:37 to go.  After two free throws by Blackmon, Edge hit another three and Anderson added two free throws to extend FDU's lead to 57-49 with 8:39 remaining.

The Red Flash answered with a 14-2 run, ending with a 64-59 lead with 1:18 to go.  The sophomores took over, with Nebo scoring six points, off four free throws and a dunk, King adding five, with three free throws and a layup, and Blackmon contributing two free throws and a layup.
