BROOKLYN, N.Y.-  Saint Francis will go for their 10th NEC win and a complete Brooklyn sweep on Monday night when they travel to the Pope Center to take on their Saint Francis counterpart in the SFBK Terriers.

ABOUT THE FLASH
Saint Francis rolled to a 74-30 victory at LIU on Saturday, picking up their ninth NEC win in the process. A win on Monday night over the Terriers would clinch a Northeast Conference playoff spot. The Flash got a balanced attack on Saturday, placing three in double figures led by Maya Wynn (Reisterstown, Md./McDonogh)'s 20 including a six-pack of three pointers. It was the Red Flash defense that went to work, holding LIU to just 18 percent shooting and forcing 21 turnovers. The Flash had a season-best 28 points off the miscues. SFU blew the game open in the second quarter, holding LIU scoreless over 15 consecutive possessions and out scoring the Blackbirds 25-2 in the frame.

The 30 points allowed are the fewest by SFU in NEC history, besting their 56-34 win over UMBC back in 1998. It is also the fewest points allowed since allowing 29 in a 78-29 win over Chatham in 1982. The defense was headlined by Courtney Zezza (Plum, Pa./Plum) who tied a career high with 12 rebounds and a game-high 5 blocks. It is the fourth NEC game and sixth game overall that Zezza has recorded at least five blocks. She leads the NEC in blocks and is 12th in the NCAA with 2.95 blocks per game.

ABOUT THE TERRIERS
St. Francis Brooklyn sits at 4-7 in NEC play and have dropped their last three including a tough 61-54 setback to Robert Morris on Saturday. SFBK brings a balanced attack into Monday night's game with three players averaging double figures in NEC play. SFU will have to contend with do everything guard Alex Delaney who led the Terriers in points, rebounds, and assists on Saturday afternoon. The Terriers also rebound well as a team, with four players averaging five rebounds or more per game. The Red Flash will look to repeat their defensive performance from their January meeting where they forced 28 Terrier turnovers. SFBK averages 19 turnovers a game but has cut that back to 17 in NEC play while forcing 16 of their own. The Terriers will also try to slow the game down, the Flash have taken over 300 more shots than the Terriers on the season, as they will try to keep the game in the 50s or 60s.
