ABOUT THE RED FLASH
Saint Francis returns home after a week in California and a weekend in Washington D.C. at the George Washington invite. All told, they are 8-12 on the season. They are led in scoring by freshman Emily Wickenheiser (Mechanicsburg, Pa/Cumberland Valley) who is second in the NCAA in goals with 64 and points with 77. Not to be outdone, teammate Kelly Fehr (Erie, Pa/Villa Maria Academy) is fifth in the NCAA with 44 goals, good for second on the team. Defensively, Aimee Baur (North Wales, Pa/North Penn) led the defense at the George Washington invite last weekend, posting 16 steals across four matches and going undefeated in quarter-opening sprints. In goal, Kate Wilke (Burbank, Calif./Burroughs) has posted a solid 8.89 goals against average across her 20 starts this season. In last weekend's win over Mercyhurst, the freshman was stellar, making 12 saves on 18 shots. Her 159 saves so far this season are fourth in the NCAA.

ABOUT W AND J
