WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Saint Francis Red Flash are back in action this weekend, traveling to our Nation's capital to compete in the George Washington Mini.

ABOUT THE RED FLASH
Saint Francis comes into the weekend at 7-9 on the season and are coming off an eight-game in eight-day swing through California on their Spring Break trip. The Red Flash offense is led by the 1-2 punch of
Emily Wickenheiser (Mechanicsburg, Pa/Cumberland Valley) and
Kelly Fehr (Erie, Pa/Villa Maria Academy). Wickenheiser currently leads the NCAA with 56 goals on the season and is third in the NCAA with 65 points. Fehr is sixth in the NCAA with 36 goals so far, this season.
Melani Aghazarian (Glendale, Calif./Glendale (La Valley College)) leads the team with 19 assists, a mark that is tied for ninth in the nation. Defensively,
Kate Wilke (Burbank, Calif./Burroughs)'s 123 saves through 16 matches has her seventh in the NCAA. Â The Flash have met up with all four of their opponents they'll meet this weekend. SFU fell 10-7 to George Washington in the SFU home opener, lost to Gannon 10-8 at the Mercyhurst Invite, defeated Mercyhurst 12-7 at Bucknell and dropped a 17-11 decision to VMI also at Mercyhurst.

ABOUT GEORGE WASHINGTON
It will be the Colonials' senior day against SFU and will honor Allyson Bakos and Brennan Marczewski prior to the match. Scarlett Hallahan leads the Colonials this season with 20 goals and 16 assists, she had three goals against the Red Flash in the first meeting. Jacqueline Bywater is second on the team with 16 goals, she also scored three times against the Red Flash. Defensively, Alexandra Moeller and Samantha Runyon have split time with each owning a save percentage of .450 and .460, respectfully.

ABOUT GANNONÂ
The Golden Knights come into the match at 5-7 on the season. Allison Cooney leads the Golden Knights with 29 goals and 34 points this season, she had four goals against SFU in their 10-8 win over the Red Flash earlier this season. Gannon jumped out to an 8-2 lead against SFU and hung on for the win on the strength of a 13 save effort from Emily Rodriguez who has a .420 save percentage this season and  a goals against average of just over nine.

ABOUT MERCYHURST
The Lakers come into the weekend at 4-7 on the season and SFU defeated Mercyhurst 12-7 as part of the Bison Invite earlier this season. Jennifer Moshinsky scored three goals for Mercyhurst against SFU, but has since transitioned to goalie where she made eight saves on nine shots in a win over Penn-State Behrend. Becky Insalaco scored five times in the win over PS-B.

ABOUT VMI
The Keydets come into the game at 4-1 on the season, including a 17-11 win over Saint Francis at the Mercyhurst Invite. Through five games, Natalie Rivas is tied for the team lead with nine goals including four against the Red Flash. Shelby Barkley is also tied for the team lead but it is a balanced offense that has seven different players with at least six goals. Isabella French has emerged as the starting goalie and has posted a .485 save percentage.
