BLOOMINGTON, IND.- Â Kelly Fehr (Erie, Pa/Villa Maria Academy) and
Missy McCreary (Altadena, CA/LaSalle (Citrus College)) each scored twice and
Kate Wilke (Burbank, Calif./Burroughs) made 12 saves but Indiana used a big first quarter to defeat the Red Flash 16-6 on Saturday evening in the CWPA tournament.Â
Indiana struck first scoring shortly after both teams missed on power-play opportunities. A pair of Wilke saves gave SFU a chance to counter and
Aimee Baur (North Wales, Pa/North Penn) found
Kelly Fehr (Erie, Pa/Villa Maria Academy) for her seventh goal of the tournament to tie the match at one. The Hoosiers' duo of Kelly Matthews and Sarah Myers responded with each assisting on the other's goal to make it a 3-1 contest. Myers wasn't finished in the first quarter, scoring three more times and assisting on the fourth as Indiana led 7-1 after the first quarter.Â
Wilke continued to stonewall the Hoosiers in the second, making a trio of saves during an early Hoosier attack. A fourth shot was blocked down by Baur but the rebound  found Kendall Doten to make it 8-1. Indiana would make it 10-1 before
Kelly Fehr (Erie, Pa/Villa Maria Academy) took advantage of an offensive foul by Indiana as she scored her second of the game on the ensuing possession, Indiana took a 11-2 lead into the half.Â
Kate Wilke (Burbank, Calif./Burroughs) would make four more saves in the third quarter to slow down the potent Hoosier offense. The Flash offense got going in the fourth quarter. The Flash closed with the game's final four goals, starting with
