- FIRST SET
- SFU controlled the first set early, forcing a YSU timeout at 10-4 Red Flash
- The Red Flash would lead by as many as seven in the first set
- YSU rallied to 17-15 but a pair of Alexis Lambert (McKinney, Tx./McKinney-Boyd) kills quieted the rally and Kelsey Roush (Johnstown, Pa./Richland) finished the set with a pair of kills at 25-22 SFU
- SECOND SET
- The Penguins took six of the first seven points in the second set to force a SFU timeout
- Saint Francis would rally to within three on a pair of occasions but the Penguins had the offensive momentum, hitting .385 in the set to take it 25-15
- THIRD SET
- Both team had runs in the third set early with SFU leading 5-2 early and YSU rallying to tie the set at seven
- With the set tied at 18, Kelsey Roush (Johnstown, Pa./Richland) hit an ace, part of a five-point run that helped SFU put the set away
- Emily Marcinowski (Strongsville, Ohio/Padua Franciscan) had a pair of kills and Roush finished the set at 25-21 with her 16th kill of the match
- FOURTH SET
- YSU broke open a tight start to the fourth set with six-straight points to lead 14-8
- SFU would get to within three in the fourth, but no closer
- FIFTH SET
- In the fifth set, YSU would go up 4-1 early, forcing a SFU timeout
- SFU would rally back, scoring the next two points to make it 4-3, but the Penguins would stretch the lead back out to five at 10-5, forcing SFU to use its final timeout
- The Flash rallied back to 12-11, forcing YSU to use both timeouts during the run, four kills by Roush paced the run
- The teams traded points to 13-12 before YSU closed out the match with the final two points

- Kelsey Roush (Johnstown, Pa./Richland)'s 25 kills are the most in a match for SFU since Nichole Hyer had 25 against Robert Morris on October 25, 2004.
- Jenna Veres (Independence, Ohio/Padua Franciscan)' 36 digs are the most in a match since…Tuesday when Veres had a school-record 41, the senior now owns the top two marks for digs in a match and four of the top five
