LORETTO, PA- Â The Red Flash pulled away from a pesky St. Francis Brooklyn squad in the fourth quarter and rode a school-record 10 threes from
Jessica Kovatch (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) to a 90-75 victory to move to 3-0 in NEC play.

Kovatch finished with a season-high 39 points on 13-28 shooting including a record-breaking 10-21 from three, breaking her own school record for threes in a game. The 10 made threes tie for the second-most in the NCAA this season. Not to be outdone,
Courtney Zezza (Plum, Pa./Plum) tied her career best with eight blocks, one shy of the school recorded and tied for the 7
th most in the NCAA this season. The Red Flash totaled a season-high 12 blocks in the game.

FIRST QUARTER RECAP
- The Red Flash got out to a quick start with a Harrison jumper followed by a Harrison steal that led to a Kovatch three
- Harrison and Kovatch traded baskets to pace SFU early as they jumped out to an 11-5 lead at the first media timeout
- The lead would grow to as many as nine before the Terriers got hot, five-straight points from Samantha Keltos cut the SFU lead to four
- A three from Karson Swogger (Bellwood, PA/Bellwood-Antis) capped a personal 8-2 run for the freshman and staked the Red Flash to their largest lead of the quarter at 23-13
- Mia Ehling was 4-4 from three for the Terriers on Saturday and her late three cut the SFU lead in half at 26-21 at the end of the first quarter

SECOND QUARTER RECAP
- The SFU lead would yo-yo between 5-10 points for much of the quarter with the Red Flash unable to pull away from SFBK
- A lay-up by Alex Delany cut the SFU lead to four before the Red Flash reeled off a 9-0 run on two threes from Kovatch and a third from Maya Wynn (Reisterstown, Md./McDonogh)
- A late bucket by the Terriers stopped the run and SFU took a 46-35 lead into the locker room

THIRD QUARTER RECAP
- Brooklyn came out firing in the second half, cutting the SFU lead to two on the back of a 12-3 run to start the quarter
- The lead would shrink to one off a Jade Johnson three before buckets by Kovatch and Kyasia Duling (Zanesville, Ohio/New Albany (Duquesne)) stretched the lead back to five
- Again, the Terriers would make it a one-possession game off a Ehling three before a late Kovatch three gave SFU some breathing room
- The Red Flash would take a 61-55 lead into the fourth

FOURTH QUARTER RECAP
- SFU got quick buckets from Caitlyn Kroll (Bridgeport, Ohio/Bridgeport) and Leah Morrow (Columbus, Ohio/Columbus Africentric) and forced a pair of turnovers to stretch the lead back to 10 at 65-55
- The Terriers would get it to within single-digits just one more time in the game, a pair of Kovatch threes on back-to-back possession were crucial and forced a SFBK timeout with SFU leading 71-56
- Lay-ups by Zezza and Harrison set up another Kovatch three to put SFU up 21, their high-water mark of the game
- Both teams emptied their bench and SFBK was able to get within 12 before a Caitlyn Carroll three capped the scoring
- Kovatch scored 14 of her 39 in the fourth to help seal the victory

The Red Flash moved to 8-7 on the season and 3-0 in NEC play while St. Francis Brooklyn sits at 4-9 and 0-2. The Terriers will play at Robert Morris on Monday night at 7. The Red Flash will host LIU Brooklyn on Monday night, tip time from DeGol Arena is set for 6 p.m.
