Loretto, Pa.- The Saint Francis men's soccer team (6-3-3, 2-0-2 NEC) is geared for a big weekend as they look to utilize home field advantage by welcoming in Central Connecticut State (0-10-1, 0-4 NEC) and LIU Brooklyn (9-3-1, 4-0) for two conference games, Friday Oct. 19 and Saturday Oct. 21.

Scouting Blue Devils
Central Connecticut is coming into Friday's match looking to get into the win column. The Blue Devils are winless on the season at 0-10-1, including a 0-4 mark in NEC play. CCSU has scored eight goals total this season, four of them coming off the foot of senior forward Louis Beddouri. The Blue Devils lone draw on the season was in a 1-1 tie against Hartford back on Sept. 25.

Central Connecticut leads the all-time series against the Red Flash, 9-13-4. The Blue Devils edged the Red Flash in its last matchup a season ago 5-3.

Scouting Blackbirds
Sunday's match will feature the top two teams in the conference as LIU Brooklyn holds the top position with a 4-0 NEC conference record. This past weekend, the Blackbirds came from behind in both of its matchups to win 3-2 against Sacred Heart and 2-1 against Mount St. Mary's. Senior Rasmus Hansen and sophomore Fredrik Mathisen lead the team in goals with five apiece. Both currently sit third in the conference in total goals and goals per game.

The Red Flash hold the series advantage against the Blackbird with a 18-13-2 record. Last season, the Blackbirds got the best of the Red Flash with a 2-1 victory on their home turf.

LAST TIME OUTÂ
The Red Flash ended Friday's match against Fairleigh Dickinson in a 0-0 draw. Despite holding one of the top offensive teams in the NEC to only two shots on goal, the Red Flash showed some true grit on the defensive end and from the goalie position. Freshman
Alex Morgret (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) came up with two clutch saves to prevent the Knights from coming out victorious and keep the Red Flash unbeaten in conference play.

LOOKING AHEADÂ
This upcoming weekend is crucial for the Red Flash as it looks to possibly host the NEC conference tournament. As it stands, LIU Brooklyn currently sits in first place with a 4-0 NEC record and would be the front runner to host the tournament. Saint Francis sits in second place with a 2-0-2 NEC record and Fairleigh Dickinson is in third with a 2-1-2 NEC record. Bryant edges out St. Francis Brooklyn for the fourth spot with a 2-1-1 NEC record.
