Game Recap: Women's Basketball | | David Halstead

SFU takes down Seton Hill behind well-balanced team effort

Loretto, PA – Saint Francis women's basketball (1-3) picked up its first win of the season in a 86-74 victory over Seton Hill on Tuesday at DeGol Arena. Jess Kovatch (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) led all scorers with 20 points, while Karson Swogger (Bellwood, PA/Bellwood-Antis) and Aunesha Williams (Miami, FL/McEachern (Morgan State)) added 17 points each for the Red Flash.

Robinson-Fruchtl's Reaction

"We executed some things offensively that we just started emphasizing this week since I have joined the team," Interim Head Coach Susan Robinson-Fruchtl said. "I'm really proud of the kids and how they picked it up and communicated on the floor. Credit goes to them as they were really attentive this week and worked hard and stayed together. That's what we are going to have to do the rest of the season."
