Red Flash to Dance With Blue Devils on Senior Day on ESPN 3

LORETTO, PA- Saint Francis will honor the senior class from the football team and spirit groups on Saturday as well as all veterans as the Red Flash play host to the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils on Saturday on ESPN 3.

The Red Flash will honor their 20 seniors in a post-game ceremony and their spirit groups in a pre-game ceremony on Saturday. The game is also part of the Red Flash "Salute to Service" weekend with all current and retired military personnel getting free admission.

RINELLA RUNS WILD
Junior safety Nick Rinella (Collegeville, Pa./La Salle College) had himself a game last Saturday against the Bryant Bulldogs. Rinella led the team in rushing (10 carries, 60 yards TD), tackles (10, seven solo), and returns yards (94, including a 70-yard kick return). Rinella added a interception and a rushing touchdown. The safety/return man was named a STATS FCS honorable mention for Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts. Thanks to his 70-yard return, Rinella now sits fifth in the FCS in total return yards this season with 760.

BEAR-ING DOWN
Graduate student and starting quarterback Bear Fenimore (Austin, Texas/Westwood) has been a mark of consistency this season, tossing at least two touchdown passes in eight-straight games and accounting for at least two scores in each game this year. His 19 touchdown passes are tops in the Northeast Conference as is his 19:3 touchdown to interception ratio. Fenimore has tossed 33 touchdowns in his nearly two seasons in Loretto, fifth most in school history.

UNSTOPPABLE FORCE VS IMMOVABLE OBJECT
Saturday's game will feature a top-20 rushing attack vs a top-20 rushing defense on Saturday. CCSU comes into the game at #17 in the FCS, averaging 238 yards per game on the ground, second in the Northeast Conference. They rolled up 396 yards on the ground in the win over Wagner two weeks ago. On the opposite end, the Red Flash rush defense is #15 in the FCS, allowing just 109 yards on the ground per game, tops in the NEC. Last week, the Red Flash held Bryant to just 108 yards on 34 carries.

RED FLASH WREAKING HAVOC
Saint Francis has been all about disruption on the defensive side of the ball. SFU ranks third in the FCS in tackles for loss (TFL), averaging nearly nine per game. The big reason for that is Da'Jon Lee (Fairfax, Va./Robinson), the junior is averaging two TFLs per game and leads the FCS in five forced fumbles. When the play is not stopped in the backfield, Jermaine Ponder (Rochester, N.Y./Bishop Kearney) has been there to defend the pass. With 15 pass break ups and an interception this season, Ponder is third in the country with 16 passes defended.

ABOUT CCSU
The Blue Devils lead the Northeast Conference in scoring (34 points per game) and total offense (452 yards/game). They've done it with great balance, ranking second in the NEC in rushing and third in passing. SFU will have to have find an answer for the two heading rushing attack of Aaron Dawson and Drew Jean-Guillaume. Dawson turned heads with his 360 yard, five touchdown day against Wagner two weeks ago. Quarterback Jacob Dolegala is a solid quarterback who has tossed 11 touchdowns against just three picks while also rushing for five scores.
