Scouting Delaware
 
Delaware's 7-2 start to the season hit a road bump on Wednesday with an 80-65 loss to Navy. Redshirt senior and 6'9" forward Eric Carter has been the Blue Hens top player, averaging 18.1 ppg and 9.4 rpg. Ithiel Horton and Kevin Anderson join Carter in double figures with scoring averages of 14.0 and 12.5 ppg, respectively. Led by Horton's 46.2% clip from three-point range, Delaware is shooting 42.2% from three-point range, the 11^th best mark in the NCAA. An area for concern for Delaware is its -3.5 turnover margin. The Blue Hens are averaging 14.2 turnovers per game.

Iorio In the Zone
 
American sophomore Sam Iorio got in the zone early and didn't look back in SFU's loss Tuesday, knocking down 6-of-7 three-pointers in the first half for 24 first-half points. The forward would finish with 33 points, the most points by an opposing player during the Rob Krimmel era.
 
Blackmon Breaks Out
 
Redshirt junior and prolific scorer Isaiah Blackmon (Charlotte, N.C./West Charlotte) broke out in a big way on Tuesday with 22 points, his first game with 20 or more points since scoring 20 at Wagner in the 2016-17 NEC Semifinal. Blackmon, SFU's leading scorer in 2016-17, now has eight career games with 20 or more points. He averaged 6.25 ppg over his first four games of the season but is averaging 14.0 ppg over the last three.
 
Road Woes
 
Saint Francis will try to end its six-game losing streak at Delaware on Sunday dating back to its defeat at Illinois-Chicago in the CIT last season. The Red Flash are 7-15 on the road since the start of last season despite posting a 14-3 record at home over the span.
