Scouting CCSU

The Blue Devils are in the midst of a five-game slide and will be fighting for their playoff lives when they come to Loretto on Thursday. CCSU bested the Red Flash 72-68 in both teams' conference openers on Dec. 29. The Blue Devils led big in that one before SFU stormed back to tie it in the final minute only to see its hard work go for not in the end. Joe Hugley came off the bench to score 17 for the Blue Devils in the win while sophomore Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./The Lawrenceville School) scored a game-high 18 for the Red Flash. Central Connecticut is led by Tyler Kohl at 16.6 ppg. The Blue Devils have good size and lead the conference in defensive rebounding but have been plagued by turnovers and a scoring offense ranked ninth in the conference.

SENIOR DAY CEREMONY

Harmon was the NEC Rookie of the Year in 2013-14 and has scored 871 points in his career. He needs seven assists to move into 7th in school history as he currently has 317 under his belt. Before arriving in Loretto, Saint Francis had won 36 games in the previous five seasons. With Harmon on campus it has since won 70. Wallace and Baker have each been solid contributors for Krimmel as well with 43 and 17 career games played respectively.
