La Verne, Calif- Your Saint Francis Red Flash water polo team, coming off a 4-0 weekend at the Claremont Convergence Tournament, faces the Leopards of La Verne in a nonconference match Monday.
 
Scouting La Verne
 
The Leopards enter the contest with a 1-5 record. They, too, competed in the Convergence Tournament and went 0-4 against a slate of tough competition. Their latest game involved a game winning shot against Saint Francis Brooklyn with 17 seconds left. They are led by first year head coach Pat Beemer who served at the helm last season with the Red Flash.
 
Seletopoulou Scores Again and Again and Again
 
Freshman star Marialena Seletopoulou (Glyfada Athens Greece/Yannopoulos School) posted 13 goals over the weekend and now has 61 scores on the season for an average of 5.08 per game.

Both Saint Francis and La Verne played Chapman and Saint Francis Brooklyn. The Red Flash won both matchups while the Leopards only edged Saint Francis Brooklyn.
