Lewisburg, Pa- Your Saint Francis Red Flash water polo team (12-19) fell to George Washington 12-6 in the seventh place play-in game of the CWPA Championships. 

Flash Points

• Marialena Seletopoulou (Glyfada Athens Greece/Yannopoulos School) scored four goals to lead the Red Flash in scoring. 
• Five seniors played in their final game for SFU. 

Highlights

• The Colonials got off to a Paul Revere start with three goals in the first quarter to hold the Red Flash scoreless. 
• In the second period, Seletopoulou put Saint Francis on the board with two goals. Unfortunately, George Washington equaled her contributions for a 6-2 halftime advantage. 
• The Red Flash pulled within 7-4 in the third quarter on two Seletopoulou goals before the Colonials scored twice to end the period. 
• Kelly Fehr (Erie, Pa/Villa Maria Academy) and Lani Merrill (San Clemente, Calif./San Clemente (Saddleback College)) each provided a tally but it was not enough as George Washington added three insurance goals to win 12-6. 

Notes

• Kate Wilke (Burbank, Calif./Burroughs) totaled fourteen saves. 
• The two squads combined for nineteen exclusions.
