Water Polo Heads to New England for CWPA Action

Loretto, Pa- Your Saint Francis Red Flash water polo squad heads to New England for five games against CWPA competition.
 
Scouting Brown
 
The Bears enter Friday's night matchup with a 0-1 record in conference and an 11-12 overall record after a California road trip. Jessica Heilman leads the Bears with 41 goals. Marisol Dakan is the leading goalie with 136 saves. Felix Mercado is in his 11th season as head coach of Brown. Saint Francis is 0-2 all-time against Brown.
 
Scouting Harvard
 
The Crimson are currently 13-11 on the season. Kristen Hong has 51 goals to pace the team. Mathilde Ribordy is another weapon with 41 goals. Cleo Harrington and Sam Acker are tied with 135 saves. Head coach Ted Minnis is in his eighth season at the helm and has the most wins in Harvard history.  Saint Francis is 0-2 all-time against Harvard.
 
Scouting Princeton
 
The Tigers roar into this weekend with a 13-7 record after returning from a California expedition. Offensively, Haley Wan leads the Tigers with 41 goals on 96 shots. Lindsey Kelleher has 33 goals and 25 assists. Marissa Webb has stopped 193 shots. Becca Dorst is the interim head coach. Saint Francis is 0-1 all-time against Princeton.
 
Scouting Bucknell
 
The Bison stampede into the weekend sporting a 10-12 mark. Like a mighty herd, the Bison do not rely on a single scorer but a multitude of options to hammer the nets. Emily Konishi leads the squad with 33 goals. Ally Furano and Kali Hyham have 29 and 28 goals respectively. Manuela Herrera has protected the nets with 162 saves. Saint Francis has dropped two games this year to Bucknell and is 0-3 all-time against the Bison.
 
Scouting George Washington
 
The Colonials gallop into the weekend with a 10-8 record. George Washington's last outing was a 14-7 defeat to Harvard. George Washington boasts an arsenal of weapons with five players scoring over 20 goals this season. Alana Ponce, a freshman, leads the team with 42 goals. Dara Bleiberg is second in points (51) on 26 goals and 25 assists. Katherine Moeller is the leading goalkeeper with 73 saves. The Red Flash are 1-4 all-time against the Colonials.
