Cambridge, Mass- Your Saint Francis Red Flash water polo team dropped two decisions Saturday against nationally ranked Harvard and Princeton. The Crimson were victorious by a 14-4 margin and the Tigers won 15-7.

Highlights
·        The Red Flash went scoreless in the first period as the Crimson jumped out to a 3-0 lead.
·        A Seletopoulou score placed Saint Francis on the board but Harvard's offense was relentless as the Crimson put together a 9-1 halftime advantage.
·        Argentina Bonilla (Los Angeles, Calif/Birmingham (LA Valley College)) scored for the Red Flash in the third but Harvard tallied twice for an 11-2 score.
·        The final period saw no miracle rally but Ani Aghakhanian (La Crescenta, Calif/La Valley College) and Seletopoulou placed scoring deposits. Harvard scored the final tally to cement the total at 14-4.
·        Reminiscent of William Blake's famous poem, Princeton roared out to a bright 4-0 lead until a Kelly Fehr (Erie, Pa/Villa Maria Academy) goal put the Red Flash on the scoreboard. A Seletopoulou goal would follow but the Tigers ended the first period up 7-2.
·        Seletopoulou scored twice in the second period but Princeton kept pace with three tallies of their own to obtain a 10-4 halftime advantage.
·        Fehr notched another goal in the third period but Princeton scored three goals to move ahead 13-5.
·        In the fourth quarter, Aghakhanian aimed an excellent shot to cut the deficit to seven points. Princeton forbade any comeback attempt with two insurance goals. With one second remaining, Seletopoulou scored on a penalty shot for her fourth goal of the game and to finalize the scoring at 15-7.

·        Aimee Baur (North Wales, Pa/North Penn) went 3 for 3 in sprints against Princeton.
·        Saint Francis drew 12 exclusions to their opponents' 15.
