Loretto, Pa- Your Saint Francis Red Flash water polo team is proud to announce the signing of two attackers Julia Bradford and Rebecca Pendleton.

O'Neil on Bradford: We are excited Julia chose to join the Red Flash Family. Her speed, toughness and great outside shot will allow her to have an impact on the team right away.

Bradford earned many accolades during her high school career at Villa Maria. She made the 2014 Pennsylvania All-Freshmen Team, the 2015 Second Team Pennsylvania All-Western Conference, the 2016 Ohio Cup All-Tournament Team, the 2016 First Team Pennsylvania All-Western Conference, 2016 Second Team Pennsylvania All-State, 2016 Team Offensive MVP, 2017 Beast of the East First Team All-Tournament, 2017 First Team Pennsylvania All-Western Conference, 2017 First Team Pennsylvania All-State and Team MVP.

Her career stats of 151 goals, 24 field blocks, 196 steals, 68 sprints won and 88 KODs are all in the Villa Maria top ten.

Pendleton was a pioneer during her high school career at Upper Dublin as she helped establish the first women's water polo team in 2015. She served as captain for the first two years. She made the 2016 Third Team All League, 2017 Second Team All-League, 2017 Second Team All-Conference and 2017 Third Team All-State. Her team earned 2016 Runner Up at the Beast of the East Tournament in Flight Two and finished third overall in the Eastern Conference in 2017. Upper Dublin also made States for the first time in 2017 finishing eighth overall. In addition, she played with Kingfish in the 2016 Great Lakes Classic where they finished 1st and is currently playing with her club team at Upper Dublin.
