BOX SCORE Baltimore, Md. - The Saint Francis women's soccer team (1-2-1) entered Sunday's contest at Loyola (Md.) (1-3) with eight goals in its first three matches but could only muster three shots in a 1-0 loss to the Greyhounds.

The game's lone goal came in the 17th minute when Mia Sardella sent a corner kick to the far post that went directly in untouched.Â
Highlights
- Loyola nearly doubled its lead in the 30th minute but redshirt junior Julia Hernan (Collegeville, Pa./The Hill School) stopped a left-footed shot attempt from 10 yards out.
- Freshman Heather Markiewicz (Darnestown, Md./Northwest) had SFU's best chance of the first half when she slipped in behind the Greyhounds' back four but the goalkeeper closed down her space and she could only hit her shot into her stomach from close distance.
- Sophomore Dakota Graham (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) recorded SFU's only other shot attempt on target, a 25-yard shot that was held by the Loyola keeper.
- Saint Francis had one final chance in the final seconds of the match. Graham sent a corner kick that was flicked on to junior Alyssa McGhee (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) but she scuffed her shot as time expired.
