Men’s Soccer Travels to St. Bonaventure for Mid-week Matchup
Olean, NY- The Saint Francis men's soccer team (3-3) heads up north on Wednesday night to take on St. Bonaventure (3-1-1) at 6 p.m.
Scouting the Bonnies
The Bonnies come into Wednesday's match riding a three-game winning streak after squeezing out a late 1-0 victory over Niagara this past Saturday. Despite an 8-9-2 overall record a season ago, St. Bonaventure has been a sneaky dangerous team over the years. The key to victory will be to attack the Bonnies' defense early, as they are 0-1 when opponents score in the first half. Senior Kosi Nwafornso has compiled most of the scoring for the Bonnies, posting four goals on 15 shots. He also sits second in the Atlantic-10 in total goals scored. Senior Goalkeeper Luke Iacobellis has posted 13 saves and a .867 save percentage.
Series History
St. Bonaventure leads the all-time series against the Red Flash, 14-6-1. The Red Flash lost in heartbreaking fashion a season ago as the Bonnies squeezed out a late goal in the 82th minute to win 1-0.

Kevin Smolyn (Holland, Pa./Germantown Academy),
