Loretto, Pa.-
The Saint Francis men's soccer team (4-3-1) starts conference play on the road as they travel to Sacred Heart Friday Sept. 28 and Bryant Saturday Sept. 30.

Scouting Sacred Heart
Sacred Heart enters the week 1-6-1 record after dropping two matches to Seton Hall and Iona last week. The Pioneers have had trouble putting points on the board, as they never scored more than one goal in a game. They have complied four one-goal games this season. Sophomore Alejandro Arribas who has converted three goals and six points leads SHU. Freshman Segundo Navarro follows with two goals and five points.

Series History
Saint Francis leads the all-time series 17-2-2. The Red Flash have won the last eight matches against the Pioneers.

Scouting Bryant
The Bulldogs open conference play with a 0-6-1 record after dropping a 4-0 match against Yale last Tuesday. Bryant has competed in some tough contests this season as they tied No. 11 Fordham and dropped a 2-1 nailbiter against Stony Brook. Sophomore Jared Lee has amassed the most recent goal for the Bulldogs. Additionally, Charles DeSantis has scored a goal but he also leads the team with three points and 15 total shots. Junior Olivier Larente has been the leading goalkeeper for the Bulldogs with 21 saves.

Series History
Saint Francis is 6-1-3 all-time vs the Bulldogs and unbeaten in the last three matches (2-0-1). The Red Flash pulled out an overtime victory a season ago defeating the Bulldogs 1-0.

Road Warriors
Over the past two weeks Saint Francis has traveled and tested their mettle on the road. Coming off a 1-1 tie against Cal State Fullerton, the Red Flash has totaled a 2-1-1 record against its opponents. A collective team effort has helped put the Red Flash in a good position heading into conference play as they look to make a statement this weekend heading to the east coast.

Conference Commences
The Red Flash look to redeem themselves after missing the postseason a season ago.  As conference play opens up this weekend, the Red Flash appear to be one of the top programs in the Northeast Conference so far as it is one of the two teams to possess a .500 winning percentage or higher. LIU Brooklyn leads the conference with a 5-3-1 record, followed by the Red Flash at 4-3-1 and the Knights of Fairleigh Dickinson at 3-4-1.
