Scouting CCSU
The Blue Devils bounced back from an 0-2 opening week with two wins last week to even its record to 2-2 in conference play. Preseason All-NEC selection Tyler Kohl was at the forefront of the action as he has been all season. He was named NEC Player of the Week after averaging … in CCSU's two wins. For the season, Kohl leads the Blue Devils in scoring (18.5 ppg), rebounding (6.6 rpg) and assists (4.6 apg). Freshman Ian Krishnan has provided a nice secondary scoring option at 13.3 ppg while Joe Hugley averages 12.0 ppg off the bench. CCSU has the worst defensive rebounding percentage in the conference while SFU ranks second in offensive rebounding percentage.
Series History
Saint Francis trails the series 19-22 but has won seven of the last 10 meetings including a 77-71 overtime win the last time the schools met on Feb. 15, 2018.

Scouting Bryant
The Bulldogs are 2-2 under first-year head coach Jared Grasso. Bryant has enjoyed balanced scoring as four players average double figures: Adam Grant (14.8 ppg), SaBastian Townes (14.3 ppg), Byron Hawkins (13.0 ppg) and Joe Kasperzyk (10.9 ppg). Kasperzyk, a freshman point guard, has emerged of late, averaging 16.3 ppg in four conference games. The Bulldogs rank ninth in scoring offense (68.5 ppg), ninth in scoring defense (79.9 ppg) and last in scoring margin (-11.5 ppg). The Bulldogs have also had difficulties keeping opponents off the glass with a league-worst -5.8 rebounding margin.
Series History
The Red Flash and Bulldogs have each won nine games in the series. Saint Francis swept the season series in 2017-18 and has won three straight dating back to its win in the NEC Quarterfinals during the 2016-17 season.
Stringing Success
Saint Francis hasn't been able to build momentum this season after its wins. The Red Flash are just 1-5 in games following a win and haven't enjoyed a win streak over two games all year. Saint Francis went 11-6 when following wins last season and enjoyed two separate four-game win streaks.
Krimmel Tracking Second Place
With his next win, Saint Francis head coach
Rob Krimmel will move into sole second place in program history in career wins with 86, passing his two former coaches from his time as a player at Saint Francis. Krimmel played under McConnell from 1996-97 – 1998-99 and Jones during his senior season in 1999-00. He also coached as an assistant under Jones from 2000-01 through 2007-08.
Gaskins Gives Spark
Krimmel re-inserted junior guard into the starting lineup on Saturday after bringing him off the bench in 11 of the last 12 games. Gaskins rewarded his coach with 10 points while holding Terrier leading scorer Jalen Jordan to just 12 points on 3-of-9 shooting.
