Game Recap: Women's Basketball | | David Halstead

Red Flash dominate Wagner in 107-70 victory

Loretto, Pa. – Saint Francis women's basketball (8-12, 5-3 NEC) put on an electric offensive display as the Red Flash dominated Wagner (5-14, 3-5 NEC) in a 107-70 victory on Monday evening at DeGol Arena. Jess Kovatch (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) led all scorers with 30 points, while Courtney Zezza (Plum, PA/Plum) (15 points) and Haley Thomas (Hooversville, PA/Bishop McCort) (14 points) also scored in double figures.

Robinson Fruchtl's Reaction
"I'm really proud of our team, particularly for the teamwork," Interim Head Coach Susan Robinson Fruchtl said. "We shared the basketball. We had 31 assists on 39 made field goals. It's not quite a record at Saint Francis as we have had such a great history. We are second place with that single game record. That was really fun to see."
