Loretto, Pa. – The Saint Francis men's basketball team (5-4) enters Tuesday night's matchup with Franciscan riding a season-best three-game win streak.

The Barons are 3-5 despite receiving 17.0 ppg from Sean Hickey and 12.9 ppg and 7.6 rpg from Matt Trent. Hickey, who is shooting it at 44.3% from three-point range this season, led the Barons in last season's meeting with 12 points while Trent finished with seven points and 10 rebounds in a 96-63 Saint Francis victory.

Saint Francis leads the all-time series 27-8 and have won by 30-plus points in 2017-18 and 2018-19.

Saint Francis is currently the highest rated Northeast Conference team in Kenpom with an overall ranking of 191. Sacred Heart is the closest pursuer at 131. In fact, it is the highest Kenpom ranking for Saint Francis since January of 2018, when it climbed as high as 182. The Red Flash have strung together a record over .500 despite playing the fourth-hardest schedule in the NEC and the 128^th overall according to Kenpom. Saint Francis will finish over .500 in non-league play for just the third time in Krimmel's eight seasons with one win over Franciscan or William & Mary. Saint Francis has never won seven non-league games under Krimmel, but can do so by winning its final two non-league games.
 
Braxton the Facilitator
 
Senior guard Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./Delsea) has grown comfortable in the point guard position as his usage at the point has increased. Braxton, who currently ranks seventh in program history in assists and is 17 away from moving into the top five, has averaged 5.3 assists per game since starting the last four games at point guard. He started the first five games at the small forward position where he averaged 3.2 assists per game. Since making the switch, SFU's assists per game have risen from 9.6 per game to 12.5 per game.
