Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Balanced attack leads SFU to 115-66 win over Franciscan

Loretto, Pa. - All 15 players who suited up for the Saint Francis men's basketball team (6-4) on Tuesday night scored points as the Red Flash netted 115 points, its second largest total in DeGol Arena history, in a 115-66 win over Franciscan (3-6).

Redshirt sophomore Tyler Stewart (Silver Spring, Md./St. Andrew's Episcopal) led all Saint Francis scorers with 15 points and was joined in double figures by junior Mark Flagg (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) with 13, sophomore Myles Thompson (Camden, N.J./Camden) with 12 and senior Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./Delsea) with 10.

Krimmel's Reaction

"This is always a special game to play a University that shares our same values and has such a close affiliation with our campus," said head coach Rob Krimmel. "Joe Wallace has done a great job building that program and they get better each and every year. Our guys played with focus and it was great to see some of the guys who do so much for our program but don't play major minutes have success at the end of the game.

How It Happened

The Red Flash imposed its will on the smaller Barons inside, recording a 72-14 advantage in points in the paint. Saint Francis eclipsed 110 points inside DeGol Arena for just the sixth time in program history despite making just four three-pointers all game, which allowed for numerous players to make their season and collegiate debuts.
Freshman Ben Seidel (Johnstown, Pa./Bishop McCort) from Johnstown, Pa. and Bishop McCort High School answered the call with five points in his first collegiate game while freshman A.J. Burch (Annapolis, Md./Severn School) added a free throw for his first collegiate point. Another local product, A.J. Labriola (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) from Altoon, Pa. and Bishop Guilfoyle High School, also got on the scoresheet with his second career field goal while junior Dan Henry (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) scored a career-best four points.
