Â
Â
Braxton Doing it All
Â
Senior guard
Keith Braxton (Glassboro, N.J./Delsea) continues to do a little bit of everything for Saint Francis and is currently the only player in the NEC to rank in the top 10 in scoring (17.4 ppg), rebounding (6.7 rpg) and assists (3.3 apg). Braxton had his best game of the season in a win at Saint Joseph's with a season-high 26 points, and is averaging 21.7 ppg in SFU's three wins. Most of his damage has come from the free-throw line where he is 11
th in the country in attempts and eighth in makes. This isn't anything new for Braxton, who is tied for the lead in all of NCAA DI in career double-doubles with Colorado State's Nico Carvacho. Braxton ranks 6
th in program history in scoring, fifth in rebounding and seventh in assists.
Â
Three-Point Marksmen
Â
Saint Francis leads the NEC and ranks 37
th in the country in three-point field goal percentage at 38.5%. The Red Flash have been particularly deadly in its three wins, knocking down 17 of its 37 (45.9%) three-point tries. Despite its impressive percentages, Saint Francis isn't overly reliant on the three-point shot. SFU has taken just 130 three-point field goal attempts, third fewest in the conference, and averages 18.6 attempts per game. Five different Saint Francis players are shooting better than 40% from three-point range.
