Allison Appleton (Millersville PA/Penn Manor) parred nine holes on Sunday and finished tied for sixth to lead the Red Flash to a fourth-place finish at the NEC Championship.

Appleton carded an 80 on Sunday highlighted by nine pars and one birdie on hole seven to give her a team-low 233 (75, 78, 80) for the championship. The low rounds on Sunday went to junior
Nicolette Dilluvio (Westbury, N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial) and senior
Kelsey Patterson (Allentown, Pa./Emmaus) who shot 78's and finished the championship tenth and tied for seventeenth respectively. Dilluvio tallied par on 12 holes on Sunday including a run of seven straight, while Patterson recorded 10 pars and one birdie.

Synclaire Kuhn (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) fired an 80 on Sunday to finish the tournament at 240 (79,81,80) and in fifteenth. Kuhn's round featured eight pars and two birdies on holes five and six.
Michelle Cabotaje (Fort Washington, MD/Bishop McNamara) finished Sunday's final round with an 83, capped by eight pars.

As a team, the Red Flash had one of its strongest showings of the 2019 season carding a team score of 316, for a three-day total of 948. Fairleigh Dickinson won the tournament by 23 shots in front of Sacred Heart. Â
