PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The seventh seeded Red Flash fell 12-3 to the second seeded Princeton Tigers in the first round of the CWPA Championships. 

Game Recap

• The Red Flash defense proved to be impactful holding the powerful Tigers offense to two goals in the first period. Alas, the offense failed to register. 
• Princeton added three goals in the second period for a 5-0 halftime lead. 
• In the third period, Gabby Garritson (Houston, Texas/Clear Lake High School) placed an excellent ball in the net for the first Red Flash score.
• However, Princeton still led 10-1 at the end of the third period. 
• Kaitlyn Nguyen (Annandale, Va/Bishop Ireton) and Julia Bradford (Edinboro, Pa./Villa Maria Academy) scored goals in the fourth period but SFU fell 12-3.
